Car parking spaces at the Ravens Meadow Car Park in Shrewsbury could be amongst the smallest in the country, according to a new survey - but is that really the case?
The research, carried out by Continental Tyres, found that spaces at the car park are amongst the smallest in the country.
Officers at Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council, however, are adamant that for a building constructed in the 1960s, it has plenty of space for most cars.
Our video team was on hand to find out more.

It’s the posts that are the problem not the spaces - and the posts usually end up right by the drivers door - so the driver usually positions the car to one side therefore causing the problem. Probably, can’t remember really.
Yes there is room for most cars as long as you don’t want to get out of them. Perhaps the officers at SABC should try going in there with a baby and trying to get them out of a car though a space your postman would have trouble putting letters through.
Perhaps they should allow ‘mother and baby’ to also use the disabled spaces as the majority of them are not used. Come on SABC sort it out, Floor 7 should be only for disabled and ‘mother and baby’ and upper floors for larger 4×4’s.
