Friends and family of a teenager from the north Shropshire border will see her fate sealed tonight as she makes her second appearance with her dog on the ITV1 show Britain’s Got Talent.
Kate Nicholas, 16, of Norbury, near Whitchurch, appears on the show tonight, when judges decide who will go through to the semi-finals next week.
If successful, Kate will perform on one of the live shows from Monday to Friday next week. She made her debut last month on the show with her moonwalking collie, Gin, when the pair performed a heelwork to music routine.
Kate said she was excited about the show being broadcast today but remained tight-lipped about whether she got through to the next stage.
“I’m looking forward to the show, it’s all a bit mad at the moment. It’s something you would not really dream of doing, so it’s been really good and I’ve been putting in a lot of training,” she said.
Kate is appearing alongside hundreds of others on the show, with 40 acts in total being put through to the semi-finals.
Two acts from each semi-final will be put through to the final, which will take place on May 31.
Tonight’s show is broadcast on ITV1 at 8.
