Telford pensioner Betty Evans is trying to find out whether a rock she found in her garden is a fossil.

The Woodside resident, who is a Madeley Parish Councillor, made the discovery 20 years ago - but only recently managed to get it open.

Experts believe it is a fossilised seed pod, but does anyone out there know what else it could be?
