Firm brings jobs boost

Twenty new jobs are to be created in a Mid Wales town, it has been revealed.

Belgium-based Energy ICT, a company which deals with the development of software and hardware for monitoring energy usage, has opened a new web-based operation in Llanidloes.

It will be joining forces with its sister company, Energy MGT which already operates from the town’s new Parc Derwem Fawr business park.

Director Richard Morgan from Llandinam said: “We have already taken on five members of staff and expect to employ up to 20 people within the next year.”
