Bothroyd’s Wolves exit

Jay BothroydJay Bothroyd says his Wolves career is over - but vowed to prove he can be a success elsewhere.

In-demand striker Bothroyd is being chased by Stoke, Cardiff and Nottingham Forest.

Wolves are expected to demand a six-figure fee for the much-travelled former Arsenal trainee, who still has a year left on his contract.

But like fellow up-for-offer team-mates like Freddy Eastwood and Telford-born defender Rob Edwards, Bothroyd is determined that time won’t be at Molineux.

“My time with Wolves has come to an end,” said Bothroyd. “Along with others, I’m on the transfer list.

“I have lots of doubters, but I know I can do a good job.”
