Thousands of women took to the pathways of Telford Town Park to compete in the Race for Life.

The annual event, which is run by Cancer Research UK, raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity.

But what drives people to run 5km in Telford on a wet Saturday afternoon - and how has cancer touched their lives?
