County Premier League champions Hanwood United are in line to step up a level - providing their ground passes an inspection on Wednesday.
The village side hope to be playing in the Sport Italia West Midlands League division two next season, following in the footsteps of Ellesmere Rangers and Wellington Amateurs.
And the fortunes of that pair will offer them much hope that they can cope with the step up in class.
Ellesmere went on to win back-to-back promotions and are now firmly established as a force in the premier division.
And the Ams have just finished their first season in the league as division two champions.
Their promotion to division one is subject to another ground inspection, which will also be carried out on Wednesday.
* Former Shawbury United assistant manager Ben Coates is back on the Shropshire football scene. He has joined Wellington Amateurs as a coach.
