Norwich and Derby have joined Coventry and Crystal Palace in a four-way tug-of-war for Wolves misfit striker Freddy Eastwood.Coventry chairman Ray Ranson revealed yesterday the Sky Blues will make a renewed bid for the 24-year-old in the near future.
The Sky Blues are likely to make a reduced offer for the former Southend man after his failure to win his way back into contention after Wolves pulled the plug on a £1.5m switch in March.
But it is understood the Ricoh Arena is still Eastwood’s preferred destination as he ideally wants to stay in the area.
News of Coventry’s interest has pricked up the ears of other Championship clubs, and the Canaries and the Rams are the latest to toss their hats into the ring after Palace were also linked this week.
Norwich have lost Darren Huckerby while Derby are looking to completely rebuild after their miserable Premier campaign.
Palace have been heavily linked with Eastwood, especially now they lost in the play-offs to Bristol City.
