The inquest on a Shropshire man who died when a police van hit him has been opened.Kenneth Thiel-Furber, of Station Road, Whitchurch, died during the early hours of May 3 after he was in collision with the police van on the A41Whitchurch bypass.
The 26 year-old had been walking with his fiance, Larissa Keen.
An inquest was opened and adjourned to a date to be fixed at Shrewsbury Magistrates Court yesterday.
The matter was reported to the Independent Police Complaints Commission, but handed back to West Mercia Police to investigate.
