Fake £20 notes are being used in three Shropshire towns, police said today.
Officers are warning traders, banks and the public to be on their guard after reports of counterfeit notes being used in shops in Telford, Shifnal and Whitchurch.
A police spokesman urged anyone in doubt about a note’s validity to call them on 08457 444888.
