Residents across Powys are being urged to back an innovative lottery scheme ahead of its launch next month.
A top prize of £2,000 and five £100 prizes will be up for grabs each Wednesday in the Powys Lottery, due to be launched on June 4.
Organiser Shane Logan said he hoped people in the county would buy a £1 ticket each week.
He said the money raised from the scheme would be ploughed back into the local economy.
“We are down to just under a month until the launch of the Powys Lottery and the entries are really coming in,” he said.
“Thanks to all those who have already entered. Your special player numbers will be sent in the next few weeks - yours for as long as you wish to play.”
He said because the lottery was being organised locally, all the cash, after expenses, would go to local causes.
