Ex-beet factory is fading from view

A “mini-town” development has been proposed. Resident Andrew Cunningham, 34, who lives nearby, said: “Over the last two weeks they have been working on a daily basis using giant scissors on the end of a crane and cutting pieces of the juice tanks away. When I get home every night clearly visible progress has been made. It’s known locally as a landmark and the landscape will not be the same again.” Read more in the Shropshire Star
