What is green, six foot tall and comes once a year to a tiny village in south Shropshire?

That’s right - the Green Man has returned to Clun to welcome in spring.

The annual Green Man Festival has been held in the area for hundreds of years, with the famous Green Man defeating the wintery Ice Queen on Clun Bridge.

So could he repeat that feat this year and herald the coming of warmer weather? Our video team was on hand to find out.

The green man festival has not been held in Clun for hundreds of years, it was invented about 10 years ago to bring lots of tourists and their money into Clun, and it seems to have worked!
