Escaping the London rat race

“We reached a point where nothing was selling so we actually started to develop for the estate agents who were marketing our properties for us.

“Even they got caught out by the sudden change in the market and we didn’t get paid for our last job. We sat looking at our bills and the £500,000 of debt we were carrying and started to panic.”

“Some friends invited us to Shropshire for the weekend and the change of atmosphere was just what we needed to think clearly.”
