A historic property near the Shropshire/Welsh border was featured on television last night when it hosted a visit from TV’s Most Haunted team. The paranormal investigators travelled to Plas Newydd in Llangollen.
For the programme, presenter Yvette Fielding and her team spent the night at Plas Newydd to investigate any paranormal activity.
During the programme the team tried to communicate with any spirits that may be present and the results were revealed on Living TV last night.
At the turn of the eighteenth century Llangollen was the home of Lady Eleanor Butler and Miss Sarah Ponsonby, known as The Ladies of Llangollen.
The story of their elopement from their families in Ireland captured the imagination of Regency society.
