The sleek Mazda Ryuga concept car celebrates ‘refined and controlled motion.” Design inspiration came from unusual elements of nature - Japanese gardens and flowing molten lava to name a few. Features include rising doors and an experimental ‘floating’ centre cluster.

Mike, The smart roadster is a fantastic car that is vastly under-rated. Very economical, great looking, quick enough (but not great) and handling that will embarrass sports cars costing 3 times as much! The odd thing is, the only people that dont like them are the ones that have never been in one! So why do I like them so much?…. because I used to have one!

Number 13 the Mazda Ryuga is mine! Or it will be if I win the lottery and Mazda send them into production…it’s the most beautiful car I’ve ever seen, apart from the TVR Tuscan S, which is perfection.

None of these vehicles come close to the strangest concept vehicle ever seen on Shropshire roads, notably my orange Skoda Estelle 105S based TRIKE that roared around Shrewsbury exhaust-pipe-less with a sound system on the back pumping out Black Sabbath tunes at max volume (to be heard above the exhaust noise).
Skoda cars have this reputation of poor reliability. The engine is powerful but the metal body very heavy.Remove the body and youve got a very fast scary trike. On the straight (Berwick Road) this thing could accelerate up to an estimated 240 mph.I say estimated because the speedo needle went full circle 3 times. The serious flaw was experienced going around sharp corners at anything over 5 mph.It turned over! Some concept!

Big Matty – I agree with your comments about the smart roadster but they really need to stop selling them to morons who think that they are top of the game! They’ve been out for ages yet there are some people out there who think they are brand new!
