Shrews to freeze price of tickets

Shrewsbury Town Football Club today announced it was freezing the price of its season tickets to reward the club’s loyal fans.

The season tickets for next year offer the equivalent of more than seven matches free if bought before June 14 and four free if bought between June 15 and July 14.

And in a departure from the current seating arrangements, two blocks - eight and 19 - will have undesignated seating, which means fans can sit where they like within those sections.

Shrewsbury Town spokesman Ian Whitfield said: “This season has been a new experience for us all and we are looking to make changes for next season which, hopefully, will improve the match day experience.”

Fans can spread the payment over 10 months and current season ticket holders will be able to renew online at www.shrewsburytown.com
