A Shropshire town is set to feature on the BBC next week in the popular daytime programme To Buy Or Not To Buy.
The series which airs daily on BBC 1 at 11am is hosted by TV presenter Kristian Digby and gives potential buyers the opportunity to “road test” properties before deciding whether to place an offer.
The programme featuring Bridgnorth will be screened on Tuesday at 11am and will feature a couple viewing three properties in the area. Filming took place last autumn and took in the town centre and Bridgnorth’s Cliff Railway.
Sarah Whittall, senior marketing officer at Shropshire Tourism, said: “The town is unique with its High Town and Low Town and home to the oldest inland funicular railway in the country. This coverage will help to put Bridgnorth on the map and demonstrate to the viewers just what the town has to offer.”
Bridgnorth and the Severn Valley are currently getting plenty of publicity through the Severn Valley promotional campaign funded by Advantage West Midlands and delivered by Shropshire Tourism on behalf of Bridgnorth District Council.

And celebrity antique expert David Dickinson will visit Bridgnorth next month for his TV programme Real Deal. Mr Dickinson will be at the Nock Deighton salerooms at Tasley, Bridgnorth, on May 7 to film part of the latest series of his ITV television show.
Mark Stafford-Lovatt, salesroom manager/auctioneer, of Nock Deighton, Tasley, said they would be filming the auction side of the programme on the day.
