Just heard news and am so very sorry. Joanne was my bridesmaid when she was 4 years old and I always remember her as a happy little girl, full of life and always pushing boundaries. I sadly lost touch when I moved away, but my thoughts and prayers are with her family. Love to you all, God Bless.

Joanne was my niece although we did not see her very much she was in our thoughts, she was a bave and delightful girl overcoming many obsticales in her short life. Her mum and dad were amazing with her and gave her a wonderful life. joanne was a shining star.
Mervyn was a special friend to Joanne & will remember their holiday in Cypress and the parties they enjoyed. I will always treasure the happy time we spent together at Butlins. Our thoughts are with all the family at this time.

As a mom of a daughter with Down’s syndrome we found Jo to be inspirational and we warmed by her story and it gave us alot of hope for the future for our child. She has helped raise awareness for people with Down’s syndrome and we were very sad to read this news today and our heart ache for her loss. Sending our heart felt sympathies to her family as it really will be a terrible loss to them
I was sad to hear that Jo had passed away. I went to Priory school and always had a laugh with her in break times. My fondest memory was when she would sit in the library just reading reading reading. Jo was a book worm.
I will always remember Jo for her smile, if you were ever sad her smile made you feel better.

I mourn jo’s passing with such sadness, but I rejoice in the fact that she was able to pack so much into her short life,more than most people do in a whole lifetime. I didnt know Jo personally but my daughter Sarah who is 14 has Downs Syndrome and she enjoyed seeing Jo on the video for Craigs Christmas song.
