Telford was hit by rush-hour chaos last night after a lorry crashed down an embankment on the A442.

The accident at the Randlay Interchange closed part of the Eastern Primary just after 4.30pm, with drivers forced to find alternative routes.

It is not thought the driver was seriously injured in the accident, which saw the road closed for around three hours, as workers recovered the lorry.
