Bookies still wary over Shrews

shrewsnewlogotm.gifShrewsbury Town continue to be amongst the outsiders to drop out of the Football League on May 3.

They are currently 12-1 chances with Bet 365 to be in the bottom two at the end of the season - but that represented a dramatic transformation from last weekend.

“The price was 20-1 last weekend but we have cut that after the defeat at Chesterfield, not because of us taking much money on it but just because we are approaching crunch time for everyone in the season,” said Bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth.

“If they lose at Morecambe tonight, that price would probably come down to single figures.”

Wrexham are seen as racing certainties for the drop and are priced at 14-1 ON to finish in the bottom two.

The other prices for relegation are: Mansfield 4-9, Notts County 4-1 , Dagenham 5-1, Chester 10-1 and Macclesfield 20-1.
