A Shropshire radio presenter will be swopping her headphones for a hard hat when she leaves the studio to revamp her home in a new renovation project.Laura Cannon leaves her home in Ironbridge at 4.15am to present the breakfast show on The Wolf FM in Wolverhampton.
But despite the early start she does not return to bed but instead continues in her debut house renovation.
The former actress said she was enjoying her new hobby and loves not having to spend hours with make-up artists before presenting the breakfast show.
The former Phoenix School pupil said: “I live in Ironbridge so I have to set my alarm for about 4.15am to get to the station in time for the show at 6am.
“As soon as I have finished I get back in the car and head back to Telford where I am renovating my first house.
“I often come into work at the station having been knocking down walls and mixing concrete the night before, so it is a good job the listeners can’t see me.”
The 30-year-old is the new co-host and travel presenter of the breakfast show on The Wolf.
