Holders given home comfort

posts.jpgHolders Whitchurch have been handed a favourable home draw as they begin their quest to retain rugby’s Shropshire Cup.

The Edgeley Park men will host Telford in the first round, while the other tie in the bottom half of the draw sees Ludlow travel to Bishop’s Castle.

Harper Adams host Bridgnorth, while Newport will have home advantage against Shrewsbury.

Newport, still licking their wounds from their semi-final defeat in the EDF Intermediate Cup at Chester last week, and the rest of the county teams are not in competitive action over the Easter weekend.
