Hope of new jobs in shop revamp

lipstick.jpgA Telford Town Centre shop is to undergo a major refurbishment, with the prospect of new jobs being created.

Superdrug is to get the revamp as part of a multi-million pound scheme involving branches across the country.

The Dean Street store will be one of 14 “next generation” Superdrug shops nationwide when its doors open on March 28.

A Superdrug spokesman said the revamped shop would have a new layout and “the plush feel of a department store”.

To mark the opening, free allergy and food intolerance testing will be offered, while there will also be discounts on healthy heart checks throughout the weekend.

The first day of the reopening will see 10 per cent off all purchases.

The shop will also have an open fragrance area and a new team of beauty therapists.

Any new posts will be for shop assistants and beauty experts.
