A Shropshire road closed due to earthquake damage is expected to reopen tonight.
The section of road outside Jeffro’s nightclub, High Street, Market Drayton, has been closed amid fears the club’s chimney could collapse after it was damaged in last Wednesday’s earthquake.
Shropshire County Council spokesman Gareth Proffitt said: “It is hoped the building contractors will have completed their work by late afternoon today, allowing the road to be reopened.”
A signed diversion remained in place today.
