Prince Harry’s return from active service from Afghanistan made headlines around the world, following his ten-week tour of duty.

The young royal’s stint on the front line was cut short after news of his deployment was revealed on a foreign website - despite a news blackout agreement in the UK.

But how did Harry feel when he made those first steps off the plane at Brize Norton - and what did he say to his father, Prince Charles?

Good for you Harry!!! I am proud of you. Better yet, your mother would be very proud. I have watched you and your brother grow up in the media and admire you both for fighting to be as normal as the rest of us. A major task for being in the royal family. Keep up the good work and stay who you truly are!! God bless you!!

Couldn’t agree more Vicky, a good kid who has enjoyed all the rights of passage of a typical young man. How much easier it
would have been for him to turn out a toffee nosed twit. I’ll bet his soldiers think the world of him.
The only thing is, for a young army officer he is such a scruffy little devil. For this, he needs six laceholes where it hurts most.
