Road is closed after car crash

A Shropshire road was closed for about two hours this morning after two cars were involved in a smash.

Both cars, a Ford Fiesta and a Mitsubishi Shogun, had to be towed away.

Chris Ammonds, police spokesman, said police received a call about the crash at Wallcott, near Wellington, at 6.25am.
