Shropshire has enjoyed the sunniest February since records began 70 years ago, the Met Office said today.
Star weatherman, John Warner, said Shawbury had 115 hours of sunshine this month. The average is 65 hours.
He said: “A lot of wet and windy weather is coming up later today and over the weekend.”
