Another step closer to the top

AFC Telford’s hopes of staking a claim at the top of the Blue Square North rested on a good performance at mid-table Alfreton.

With Rob Smith’s men currently enjoying a healthy run of form, hopes were high of them claiming another three pioints.

With league leaders Kettering losing to Burscough on the same afternoon, the chance was there for Telford to move closer to the top of the table.
