The Cold War Exhibition featuring aircraft and missiles at RAF Cosford has been shortlisted for a national prize.
More than 100 entries have been shortlisted in the annual Civic Trust Awards and the RAF Cosford Cold War Exhibition is one of the highlights in with a chance of winning.
The exhibition was officially opened last year by the Princess Royal.
Other nominees include two iconic London buildings which have been revamped - The Roundhouse in Camden and the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank.
Philip Kolvin, who chairs the Civic Trust, said: “We are delighted with the high standard reached in the diverse schemes that range from housing to new museums, and from industrial buildings and offices to public spaces such as parks and promenades.”
