Robbery of man on delivery

bobby.jpgA man delivering a meal in Telford early today was robbed by a man who threatened him with a kitchen knife.

The 22-year-old victim, who works for a local food outlet, was in Coney Green Way, Dothill, when the thug pounced.

He forced the delivery man to hand over the meal before running away through gardens.  

Constable Stuart Ind, spokesman for Telford police, said the incident took place between 12.30am and 12.55am.

“The robber is described as a white male aged between 25 and 35,” he said.

“He was 5ft 4ins tall, of average build and had receding blond or light brown hair. The man was clean shaven and his face is described as squarish with a prominent forehead. He was wearing a blue zip jacket and jeans.”
