Their is no witch hunt againt the Premier, the rule passed is only an extension of current rules, which prevents Mid-Shropshire Bowlers playing for more than one team on the same night, this ensures faireness across the league.
The Premier may have felt aggrieved if the 7 day rule was accepted. This was severley defeated and sent a clear signal to the league that they wish to continue to have the opportunity to compete in league competitions, against the best bowlers in the county.
