Buyers: what puts you off?

cleaning.jpgA recent report conducted by Glow-worm, one of the country’s leading manufacturers of heating appliances, found that buyers have encountered the strangest occurrances when viewing a house.

On the company’s website, bloggers have listed their most bizarre house viewing experiences and revealed a surprising list of off-putting tales.

Over two thirds of people said they wanted to leave a property because of unbearable temperatures, whilst other unpleasant experiences included:

  • Being ‘licked to death’ by a large dog
  • Football fans letting out an ‘almighty roar’ when their team scores on TV
  • One of the owners being ‘in tears’ because they didn’t want to sell
  • Dirty dishes and unpleasant smells
