Developers behind rejected plans to build 33 homes near a Shropshire nursing home have launched an appeal against the decision, it was revealed today.
Lioncourt Homes Ltd plans to build the houses on a brownfield site between Lady Forester Community Nursing Home and Farley Road in Much Wenlock were thrown out in November.
The Droitwich-based developers have now lodged a formal appeal with the planning inspectorate. A planning inquiry is expected to be held later this year.
Planning chiefs rejected the application because it did not provide enough affordable housing.
