A man and a woman were taken to hospital after two rush-hour crashes in Shropshire.
A car ended up in a field off the M54 near junction seven at Cluddley after the driver swerved to avoid a lorry.
The 25-year-old male driver was taken to hospital with neck and back pain after the accident, at about 7.45am.
Murray MacGregor, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said in a statement: “A car had left the road.
“It went down an embankment, through a fence and into a field,” he added.
The man, from Bath, was airlifted to hospital because the land crew could not get into the field.
And a 46-year-old woman from Telford was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with minor cuts and abrasions after a Vauxhall Vectra and a sports car were involved in a collision near Shrewsbury.
The crash, which led to diversion, happened on the B4386 near to the Hare and Hounds pub in Cruckton at about 7.30am.

It seems to be that the speed limit may need looking at here to stop these kind of accidents but i hope that the people involved in this accident get better soon
