Shropshire’s stunning Face of the Future winner for 2008 has proved a true star in the making by coming through her first official modelling assignment like a catwalk professional.
Cherida Lauriello got her year off to a glamorous start by taking part in a bridalwear photoshoot at the Hadley Park House Hotel.
This is the first picture from the shoot, which featured beautiful gowns from some of the the county’s most renowned bridal specialists and menswear from Peter Posh.
Cherida, 18, said the day had been a wonderful experience and a great start to her year as Shropshire’s Face of the Future.
She was praised by specialists in the industry from across Shropshire for her professional attitude and elegant poise in front of the camera. Debbie Barrett, from Rizzo Hair and Beauty, described Cherida as a natural talent.
Cherida, from Oswestry, was taking part in the shoot as part of her prize - the rest of the pictures will appear in a special Shropshire Star bridal supplement, published on Saturday.
It will help to promote the Telford Wedding Exhibition, which starts at Telford Shopping Centre next Monday and runs until January 20. Cherida is also the face of Telford Shopping Centre for 2008 and will be at the exhibition next week.
