Shrewsbury Town supporters were in vocal mood following their side’s 1-0 defeat to Brentford at Otley Road on Saturday.
A 52nd minute goal was enough to give Brentford all three points as Town fell to their third successive loss.
Following the match, Shropshire Star sports writer James Garrison was on hand to listen to the fans as they mulled over Town’s performance.

I was there to watch the worst display by a Shrewsbury Town team that I can remember for a long time.
That game has effectively brought an end to season and it will take something special to reach the play-off’s now. I hope they can do it, but fear they won’t.
If it leads to an exodus of the better players and an inability to attract new talent this month then Mr Peters can look to this game and the Wycombe game for all the reasons why.
Very disappointing to say the least.
And what is a team like the Shrews doing offering £75,000 for a 33 year old player from a team below us in the league? On the face of it it seems like overpaying for no improvement in comparison to selling Drummond for £15,000 Thank heavens the deal didn’t go through.
i see eugen bopp from crewe has been put up for a free transfer,we should look into signing him.
