Tickets for this summer’s Shrewsbury Folk Festival went on sale today.
The booking line opened at 9am with early-bird discounts for people who buy tickets between now and April 1.
The line-up includes Richard Thompson, Bellowhead, Oysterband, Lunasa, Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, Tim Van Eyken Band and New Rope String Band.
There will be no basic changes to the site at the West Mid Showground or its venues and marquees but the event will be given a facelift with more showers, bigger bars, easier site access, better dance facilities and improved main stage seating.
Tickets for the four-day event cost £75 for adults, youth (11-17) £44.50, family (two adults, two youths) £202.50 and children under 11 can go free.
