Photo recalls infants’ school

Coalbrookdale Infants School - about 1910

It is just about possible, albeit unlikely, that any of these children of “Coalbrookdale Infants School, Group B” - that’s what it says on the board in front - are still alive.

The photo was e-mailed in by Iris Woodman, nee Gittins, of Coalbrookdale, who says: “My uncle Billy Bailey is on the front row, fifth in from the left, and Billy Walker is on the front row, second from the right.

“Those are the only ones I know. I think it is about 1910.”
