
The hand-built, period-style breakfast kitchen has a quarry-tiled floor, painted wooden units, fitted shelving, Butler sink, deep wall cupboards, plate rack, feature inglenook brick fireplace and built-in dishwasher.
When the Holdsworths bought the house, the kitchen was in the conservatory and the new kitchen was used as the dining room. They had to have a gas supply routed from the conservatory to the new kitchen (which meant drilling through concrete - so they “ate dust for weeks”), and had plumbing installed, before Adrian built the kitchen by hand.
