A road linking south Shropshire with Bridgnorth will be closed tomorrow and Sunday for repairs.
The B4368 at the level crossing near Craven Arms will be closed for two days to allow for essential railway track and signalling maintenance.
Richard Suggett, Shropshire County Council’s coordination manager for the south of the county, said the road would be closed for the duration of the works.
The closure will be in place from 12am on Saturday night until 6pm on Sunday.
Mr Suggett said vehicles under 14′6″ (4.4 m) in height would be diverted along the A49 to the B4368 Clun Road and vice versa.
Vehicles over 14ft 6in (4.4 m) in height would be diverted along the B49 to Bromfield, the A4113 to Leintwardine, the B4385 to Marlow, the B4385 to Purslow, the B4368 to Watling Street and north to Long Lane and vice versa.
