Residents in Morda, near Oswestry, are hoping to get the name of their street changed after discovering it has another, rather rude, meaning.
People living in Cae Onnan have discovered that the spelling of the name actually translates into “Sex Act Meadow”.
When spelled with an ‘E’, Cae Onnen means the more innocent Ash Meadow.

In which case I could probably find a slightly more specific translation. Something similar to ‘Winker’s Meadow’ perhaps?

I have no objections to “sex act meadow” but as a reformed smoker I find Ash Meadow quite offensive.
