A Telford man has appeared in court charged with kidnap and possession of an offensive weapon.
Matthew Thomas, of Oxford Road, Dawley, appeared at Shrewsbury Magistrates Court yesterday in connection with a stabbing which happened in Withywood Drive, Malinslee, on Friday, shortly before 10am.
A man suffered stab wounds to his leg and was taken to Telford’s Princess Royal Hospital for treatment.
Magistrates committed Thomas’s case to Shrewsbury Crown Court.
The 32-year-old was remanded in custody.
