Pets stolen from homes

ferret.jpgSeven ferrets have been stolen from addresses in Telford over two nights, police said today.

Chris Ammonds, Telford police spokesman, said three ferrets were stolen after an intruder entered the rear garden of a property in Dawley’s King Street on Monday, between 8pm and 10.30pm.

The thief removed the frames from the ferrets’ cages and stole three of the animals.

And last night four ferrets were stolen from an address in Brookdale, Hadley.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 08457 444888.

Would you still be making jokes if your pets had been stolen Martin? I have 2 pet ferrets of my own and would be devastated if some low-life stole mine.

I wish the unfortunate owners of these missing animals a happy ending. (I also hope that the little fuzz balls dished out a whole lot of biting pain on the evil people who took them!!!)

If the ferrets were that ‘precious’ they should be kept somewere safe. You know in this day and age with all the ‘chavs and scallies’ nothing is sacred so we need to do all we can to stop them.

    You’re all heartless.

It sounds like you are saying that they deserved to be stolen because they weren’t kept inside for example. Because we all know houses don’t get broken into… I don’t know whether you read it properly but the thieves took apart the frame, I’d say they were pretty secure if they couldn’t simply open a door, ferrets pens have to be secure as they are amazing at finding ways out!

It’s a shame but I get it a lot, ferrets just aren’t as important as cats and dogs so when something bad happens to them it’s all a joke.

In this day and age if somebody wants to get in somewhere no matter how safe it is, they’ll do their best to find a way. Sympathy is obviously just not your strong point.

I hate ferrets and think they deserve everythink they get. I personally think cats & dogs are much better pets. Sorry Emma but I think you are taking this to personally. Get a life, get a dog or cat!!!!.

Hayley, of course you’re right. I’m sorry, I should get rid of them if you don’t like them so now I’ll go get myself a life and get a dog or a cat. Thanks for your sound advice.
