On his sprawling country estate, an aging writer (Caine) matches wits with the struggling actor (Law) who has stolen his wife’s heart.

    Actor?

    In the original Mr Caine played a hairdresser

    Have they re-written it ?

    If so - why?

    I hate remakes - they are just not as good as the original.
