Priory Girls School - 1928

These young girls must be well into their 80s now, as this picture of Priory Girls School in Shrewsbury dates from 1928.

The board being held by the girls on the front row says something like “Shrewsbury P.C.G.S. M III”.

This picture comes to us via Shrewsbury author and historian David Trumper, but is originally from the collection of the late Vera Dyer.
