Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council will have to wait to see if they will join an appeal against the judicial review decision on a unitary authority running Shropshire.
If Congleton Borough Council - the authority’s partner in the fight against unitary - decide to go forward, Shrewsbury and Atcham have voted to back them.
But at meeting of the Congleton authority last night councillors decided that a decision will not be taken until next month.
