
You don’t see petrol pumps like this any more. No unleaded in sight. And there’s plenty of water around if you want to top up your radiator.
These are the pumps outside Furrows in Coton Hill, Shrewsbury.
The date is unknown, but colour photography wasn’t all that common before the 1960s, and there were several serious floods in Shrewsbury during that decade.
