Tigers tackle Phantoms menace

Telford Tigers arrived for their latest home game against Peterborough Phantoms with a win very much on the agenda.

The home team had not won a game in the league all season and were attempting to lift themselves off the bottom of the table with victory against one of their oldest foes.

With fans now starting to return the sport that enjoyed crowds of over 2,500 in the 1990s, the tension was high as face-off approached.

Video journalist James Shaw was there to catch all the action.

    Great coverage by the Star – hope you’ll be back for many more games.

    It’s great to see the Tigers back in action and on a sounder footing than in previous incarnations. Hopefully this coverage will help bring more people back to the rink to see the Tigers.

    many thanks to the shropshire star for a brillant report on a great team who need all the support they can get.the game footage was first class and as i couldent make the game my self it was nice to see all the best bits of the match.keep up the good work.
