Single and indecisive, Eddie (Ben Stiller) feels lonely after attending yet another one of his friend’s weddings.

Being teased by his friends and family about being the only remaining bachelor, Eddie decides to take the plunge.

After only a week of dating, with significant pressure from his father and best friend (Rob Corddry), Eddie proposes to Lila (Malin Akerman), fearing it may be his last chance for love and marriage.

After the hastily prepared Hawaiian themed wedding, the newlyweds embark on a three week honeymoon to Cabo, Mexico.

It is then that Eddie realizes what a horrible mistake he has made.

The Heartbreak Kid will be released on October 5.
